PEGASUS was founded in Vienna, Austria in 1980 by Erdal Ilicali as an inbound and outbound tour operator. Today, the inbound company is jointly owned by Raiffeisen Reisen Group and Renate Ilicali and has grown to one of the leading full service ground tour operators, specializing in travel through Central and Eastern Europe. The head office in Vienna cooperates with Pegasus offices located in Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic as well as the sales and marketing offices in India, Spain, Thailand, and the USA. Together with the City of Krems, Pegasus manages the Tourist Board of this picturesque town on the Danube.
